MAX31865 RTD-to-Digital Converter

A brief tutorial on RTD temperature sensors will be given, followed by a signal conditioning solution using ADCs. Design challenges from that technique will be presented that affect measurement accuracy, fault detection, and ADC protection. The MAX31865, a monolithic RTD-to-Digital converter with integrated fault protection, will be presented.
