The simple digital family bridges the gap between analog and digital power modules. These products provide a design-in experience comparable to an analog power module, while retaining the industry standard PMBus interface for telemetry and configuration. This family of power modules is fully configurable via pin strap resistors which provides for a simple plug-and-play solution. The comprehensive portfolio supports a wide input voltage range, covering 25 A to 70 A point-of-load and provides higher power density for multi-rail applications. To further simplify the design and reduce cost, the HDA package technology eliminates the need for airflow or additional heat sinking. These simple digital power modules are pin-compatible with the full-featured Intersil digital power module family, which provides an upgrade path for customers needing even higher currents or more functionality.
