Typical applications of the HELDO include: space constrained boards or real estate, telecom or base station systems, noise sensitive applications such as RF and wireless, as well as ASIC, FPGA and microprocessor power supplies. The latest generation of FPGAs require lower voltage operation and cleaner power supply operating requirements. They also require a fast transient response to maintain steady operation, which is an ideal position for the MIC38150.
