What HELDO
As with the MIC38300, the new MIC38150 High Efficiency Low Drop Out Regulator (HELDO) device is a new class of power conversion regulators that combines the efficiency of a switching regulator with the simplicity and characteristics of an LDO. All of this is done in an extremely dense power solution. The HELDO can be thought of as an intermediate step, when moving from an LDO to a complex switching solution.
