Simple LED Drivers- MAX7219 and MAX7221

This presentation will cover an alternative to the most common display technology used today, which are LCD panels, as these panels have drawbacks. For instance, in applications where a high level of contrast is required, LEDs are still chosen over LCDs. One of the more common types of LED displays is the seven segment display. This tutorial will discuss ways to drive these displays with the Maxim MAX7219 and MAX7221.
