Bild der Widerstände der Serie WW von Stackpole ElectronicsDie WW-Serie von Stackpole besteht aus vollverschweißten Widerstandselementen auf einem keramischen Kern. Geschweißte Widerstandselemente sind rauschärmer und haben eine bessere Langzeitstabilität und Zuverlässigkeit als gequetschte Drahtwiderstandselemente auf Glasfaserkernen. Darüber hinaus ist die WW-Serie in der Lage, höhere Widerstandswerte und bessere Widerstandstoleranzen gegenüber Fiberglaskern-Drahtwiderständen zu erreichen. Die WW-Serie ist geeignet für bis zu 500 Joule ohne Ausfall.

Zu den Anwendungen für die WW-Serie gehören Verbrauchszähler, Netzteile, Kondensatorentladungs-Widerstände und Strombegrenzung für eine Vielzahl von Endprodukten und Anwendungen. Sie werden in Audio-Anwendungen, industrieller Steuerung und Automation, Klimatechnik-Systemen und -Steuerungen, Sicherheitselektronik, Wireless-Controllern und einer Vielzahl von Präzisions- und Leistungsanwendungen verwendet.
