TPS62300EVM-085/4:TPS62302YZD3, 1.6V @ 500mA, 2.7 ~ 6V in

Summary

The Texas Instruments TPS6230xEVM-085 evaluation module helps designers evaluate the operation and performance of the TPS6230x family of devices. These devices are high efficiency, small size, buck converters that switch at 3 MHz.

The device is ideal for mobile phones and similar portable applications powered by a single-cell Li-Ion battery or by 3-cell NiMH/NiCd batteries. Output voltage range from 5.4 V down to 0.6 V.

In 100% duty cycle mode offer a low input-to-output voltage difference. In this mode, the P-channel MOSFET is constantly turned on. This is particularly useful in battery-powered applications to achieve the longest operation time by taking full advantage of the whole battery voltage range.
