TE Connectivity offers their IP68-rated anti-corrosion hoods and housings. These heavy duty connectors, made of die cast aluminum alloy, provide reliable connections even in challenging and harsh environments, such as those which require exposure to humidity, UV, temperature shocks, mechanical vibrations, and more. The stainless-steel locking system, which is compliant with other leading solutions used in the field today, offers excellent shock and vibration resistance. TE's hoods and housings have been confirmed to be anti-corrosion up to 500 hours of salt spray exposure, making them an excellent choice for industrial applications including wind turbine brakes or blade adjustment systems, mining equipment, and packing machines for the food industry.
