Terminal Strip Cutter

TE Connectivity’s (TE) terminal strip cutter is designed to easily cut side-feed, front-carrier terminal strips and reels into loose piece terminals with precision. The tool offers simple adjustment features that accommodate varying terminal heights, depths, and carrier strip lengths. Its ergonomic design allows simple operation and minimizes manufacturing waste by precision cutting one terminal at a time. The tooling's terminal strip cutter is designed for reeled terminals to ensure safety and optimize the performance of electrical connections. The challenge associated with traditional wire snips or cutting tools is that they don’t always cut cleanly, sometimes creating sharp burs or worse, bending the wire insulation and making them unusable. Low-volume, prototyping, and repair work for wire harnesses require loose piece terminals for processing.
