STMicroelectronics' T4050-6PF TRIAC allows higher current load control in the replacement of relays

Used in motor controls, heating systems, AC relays, or as HV crowbar protection for SMPS, it is well-suited for ambients where insulation may be required. The 40 A TRIAC allows for higher current load control in replacement of solid-state relays and heating or motor starters. High ITSM, immunity, and commutation control equal excellent performance.
