The reference design is built around the VIPer122LS offline high-voltage converter with 730 V power MOSFET and PWM current-mode control. It is a highly compact solution requiring a minimal BOM, delivering high efficiency, low stand-by consumption, and tight line and load regulation over the entire input and output range. Burst mode operation ensures low consumption under no-load and fixed frequency operation with frequency jittering ensures compliance with strict EMI requirements.
