Newnex’s FireNEX-80G offers device extensions up to 700 meters
Newnex's FireNEX-80G USB extension systems offer a cutting-edge and secure solution for extending USB connections. The system comprises one local unit and can connect with up to four remote units. Each remote unit has two USB-A ports supporting USB data transfer up to 3.2 Gen 2 at a 10 Gbps data rate, allowing for a total bandwidth of 80 Gbps when four remote units are used. FireNEX-80G enables simultaneous operation of up to eight USB 3.2 devices.
Designed for flexibility and reliability, the remote units can be placed up to 700 meters apart using single-mode fiber optic cables. This distance and the use of fiber optic technology safeguard the system against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and ensure superior quality of data transmission. The remote units are encased in die-cast metal with mounting brackets and feature USB3 Vision standard locking ports, providing durable and reliable connections suitable for demanding applications.
