The non-isolated P78A-1000 DC-DC converter series is the newest addition to Bel Power Solutions / CUI branded line-up of DC switching regulators. Delivering a power density of 15 W / cm3 and up to 1 A of current output, the series offers a low-profile footprint typically reserved for regulators with half of the rated output. The ultra-compact series measures just 11.6 mm x 8.5 mm x 10.4 mm and carries a wide input voltage range from 7 VDC to 28 VDC. Unlike linear regulators, the series’ high typical efficiency of 91% eliminates the need for a heat sink.
